HST "X-Load" replacement axle buffers
These axle buffers replace the original units and will work as a helper spring due to the special hollow design.
Advantages:
- Protection of all suspension components at extreme levels of (over) load
- Soft, progressive load characteristics which will provide a shock absorbing effect when compressed under extreme loads
- Easy to install, they will fit on the same mounting bolts in chassis.
- Simple bolt-on design.
Below you can see the difference between the original (left) and the X-Load (type A) axle buffer (right). The sample axle is a J61 (rear)
There are 4 different types of X-Load buffers available. In the table below you can see all types with their respective load capacities @ 50% of the original height.
